My roll is stuck and won't go down on my

Anything built by the hand of man will fail, eventually- and you have a really expensive and complicated car- now it is time to pay Hans, the MB specialist with the Deutschmarks he needs-

The Owner's Manual for my 2001 SL500 says, "The roll bar can be lowered again after an automatic deployment by pressing the upper half of the roll bar switch (for at least 5 seconds) until the roll bar drive mechanism audibly engages. Then press the lower half of the switch to lower the roll bar". If you have not tried this, I suggest that you do.

I am having problems getting my roll bar to go down on my 2007 sl 550 I tried this suggestion I seen above it didn't work I'm not sure on your model where the switches but on mine it's in the middle console I pressed the button to push the roll bar to go up and then pushed to go down either way it doesn't move and now my convertible top won't go down can anybody help
