Engine Check Light On

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Engine check light on after getting gas in over 100 degree temperatures.  The manual only suggests issue relative to fuel.  Have owed the car only 3 months.  Any idea what may be going on?

take gas cap off ,put back on until it clicks 4 to 5 times.if this dont work you need a scan.

CEL on a '05 mercedes?? uh oh. that sounds expensive...
