Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How do you adjust the parking brake? P brake pedal goes to floor and the cables rotate the levers on the rear hubs about 90 degrees. Is there shoes inside the disc hub?

I couldn't find a model-year-specific procedure for that on line Hawk so i am going to refer you to the Chilton's for your Suburban. If you are lucky your local library may have that Chilton on their shelves and you can have your procedure for the cost of a few 25-cent copies. If not you can try your local parts store or book store. You can also try taking a cup of coffee to the service manager of your local Chevy dealer and hope he spills his guts. One other source of information is usually the parts counter guys are either your dealer or the local parts store. Those guys seem to know everything. Good luck!
