Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm swapping out my radiator and dealing with A/C hoses that have been unused for 20 years. They are in the way. Is there any reason not to remove all the A/C stuff? I know I need to leave my compressor in there because the belt needs the pulley. But other than that...

You can take them out. Even get an idler to replace compressor and get rid of that too.
