Question type: General

I just bought a 1988 Toyota Camry. It has a lighted button on the console that says “ETC”, it’s some sort of “power” button, or extra power button. The light goes on when I press it but it doesn’t seem to do anything. Can someone please explain this.

Hi Pastahead, The "ETC Button" alters the shift patten of your transmission to shift faster under hard acceleration. Good luck!
