1978 civic wagon under 100K. bought it w/broken timing belt .

New fuel ,battery, rotor ,cap , plugs,
Wires.tested;coil ,ecu,dizzy timing
mrks line up. Except rotor points
to appr 15 0° BTC on # 2 at TDC
#1 cocompression Stroke.. firing
order 1342 any input would be
welcome>:)

Have you run a compression test to determine if any valves were bent when the timing belt broke? The 1987 1.4 engine is an interference engine.
