im having alittle diffuculty figureing the letter system.  ef-eg, ect. i have an 88 civic hb with a 89 jdm crx motor.   so
do i have a eg8 with a ef9 engine?    lost in translation!   thanks!!!

no you most likely have an ed6 with either a d15b sohc ef6 or a zc dohc ef7 or a b16a dohc ef8. an eg8 is a 92-95 civic four door.

thats true. for JDM honda's. his vin number will tell all. lol Usdm 88-91 - ED, 92-95 - EH, 96-00 - EJ Jdm 88-91 - EF, 91-95 - EG, 96-00 EK These are strictly 3dr chassis. Make sure you get your facts straight before you try to correct someone. Car is obviously usdm.
