Steering

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I mustve missed where to ask the question but my steering
wheel has play to it and everyone says its steering box and i
believe them but when they diagnose it as that its cause
the play in the wheel they dont look at the fact the wheel
goes to the right fine after the play of course but when i go
to right it actually stops turning the wheel will go back right
but stops when i turn left is it still steering box? And i can
adjust for temporary fix or fix all together

Thanks buddy i took it to shop said i need the shaft from behind the wheel all the way down to the box alng with the box itself

There is some sort of blue ball that fits behind steering wheel thats broke and thats really only thing i kno for sure idk much bout this work beyond my expertise i kno bout breaks and wheels and simple shit

Yea the ball is broke in 2 and out lol.... And where the shaft meets the shaft thats connected to steering box is leaking fluid

U wouldnt happen to kno what year i can interchange that whole thing with the 2000 was slightly different

Ok didnt end up having to change steering box just the column and shaft but now haveing more problems im trying to diagnose an issue my buddy who is a car guy says my issue is my spider injectors another buddy car guy but he is certified in dodge and zfor alone says my transmission sensor is going bad. Now to the issue. When i put my gas pedal to the floor i lose rpms along with mphs and it putters a lil like its not getting enough gas or air intake idk
