My 9o blazer service engine soon light came on
and it began shifting hard out of 1st and 2nd gear i
parked it turned it off for maybe 5 mins started it
back up amd the light was still on but it shifted fine
i added tranny fluid to it after checking the codes
at auto zone and had the light rest drove it the next
day fot about 35 to 40 mins and the light came
back on and it shifted hard out of 1st and 2nd
again but omcr again after i turned it off and
started it back up it shifts fine

I would change the transmission fluid and add lucas oil additive and if it still doing the same it could be an internal problem
Ill try that next but could it possibly be a sensor or the tranny getting hot maybe because both times have been after about 40 mins of driving it
It could be but i cant think of any sensor that would do that
Okay just trying to think of other possibilities and also a friend of mine said that your not supposed to change the tranny fluid after 100k but im not sure avout that
Check the fluid if its nice and clean it should still be good but if its dark then it needs to be changed
