Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Typical stop
Motor for 5 min at bank ATM .try restart cranks no
start. So far cleaned tank.new fuel filter.new fuel
relay.new pump assembly. Yet to install pump & re
install tank. So any thing else to check or do
before re install? Haven't messed with draining
any other fuel lines. Except what little came out
from fuel filter change & fuel pump lines.also got
new battery sat in. Not connected till I get tank
mounted and gassed up for 1st start. Rather do it
all correct 1st.time.. then have to do over..

this site did not post all of my issues, as I had everything typed in and hit enter.. well to continue. after towed home,* it ran at bank as long as some gas and then start fluid was sprayed into intake ran, then quit when out of the added fuel... got it home* had tank off cleaned new fuel pump, fuel filter , Got a New Battery in but not hooked up yet, and new fuel pump relay on hand. So it sits, decided to do a compression test while it sits.. on Blazer decided real quick forget that idea . So proceeded to change plugs, all went well till last plug cylinder #4 .. it's just as difficult as # 3 ,, but here is the problem with that, all 6 came out exactly matched from age and wear and no issues with threads on plugs. putting in all new plugs no issues.. #4 would not go in hole spin it by hand a lot of times just a no go. finally took cell phone and got a pic.. smooth bore no threads, like a bushing in there and smooth as a shotgun barrel inside. so that is holding me up now.. I know local machine shop said $20.00 me bring head in he' fix thread. but looks like in cars past prior owner had a issue with #4 ..I wonder if can be rethreaded w/o taking off head and intake manifold and all that high cost?? just had the tranny put in a month before for $1450.00.. and this makes a Big Ourch already with eh new fuel pump etc.

so while tank was out did some work on surface rust and doing that as wait on fix of getting it to run after the new head ach added of stripped #4 spark plug hole .. I'm also beginning to think it may not of been fuel pump in 1st place, but was real low on gas that day, usually make it to bank then pay monthly bills and top off tank on way back home. I think it could be a passlock security issue that started al this in 1st place.. but somebody shoot that murphy guy .. had enuff problems over the last month lolo lets see if these pics load up ?
