Hi sean, Your Toyota Supra came from the factory with 160-hp and 163-ftlb of torque. You could try the following forums to find out if others have had any troubles with their transmission. http://www.toyota-supra.info/ http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/f19 Thanks for your question on CarGurus.com.

let me start by saying GREAT CAR! iv owend two of these things and the car is starting to become a lil dated. yet it is a blast to drive i miss that car more than my 71 chevelle i dont remember any specs any more but i can tell ya this that lil car runs like a top handels pritty fair and is great on gas i do remember one differance in my 84 and 85 the transmission my 84 was a short ratio the 85 a long if your looking to bie go with the short ratio car preforms great! long ratio is kinda dissapointing unless you got lots of room to do 130-140mph mabey more? the trannys are pritty strong not bullit proof though. after a year of drag racing and rallys "every day car allso" it shit the bed ... motor was still strong though, nobody in the states knew the diff between the short and long ratio so gave up looking for one and sold both cars to a freind
