1997 Celica Engine in a 1987 Supra

Asked by TitusHopkins Feb 08, 2019 at 06:18 PM about the 1987 Toyota Supra 2 dr Hatchback

Question type: Car Customization

I want to buy a 1987 Toyota Supra roller with most of the parts in it. I want to
put a 1997 Toyota Celica 4cyl into it but I don't know how much work it would
take or if a bolt in would be an option. I don't want to see a pretty rust free
supra sent to the scrapper, but I also don't want to have a project that will take
forever. Please help!

This may be possible but it will be a lot of work, trouble and expense. Why ruin a perfectly good Supra by installing a econobox engine?
