Worth getting restored? Been sitting outside for about seven years uncovered ans not started during that time. No dents/dings. Needs interior and exterior cosmetics.

In my opinion, if this car holds a spot in your heart, then restore it. If you're restoring just to sell it right afterwards, then there is no point in restoring it-cause then you're just throwing time and money away. Best wishes! -Jackie
Restore it. Enjoy it. It's a relatively uncommon car and not too bad. Fresh battery and fuel should have you good to go. Tires, too, maybe.
Don't assume any thing. Replace all belts and hoses check electrical wires (rodents eat 'em) clean the engine compartment interior etc. looking for any/more damage. Before starting: replace the oil , drain the gas tank- refill from a 5 gal gas can or equivalent- look for tank and fuel line leaks under the vehicle. Replace the battery, clean any and all electrical contacts. Drain and refill the radiator with plain water (for now) -look for leaks in any water systems (water pump, hoses, heater hoses,) check brake lines, master cylinder for leaks drain and refill brake fluid. check transmission fluid. Expect to replace the transmission filter, oil filter, air filter fuel filter(s). But don't worry, you can do as much as you can do and then decide what job(s) to farm out to a mechanic. After time is on your side; its been 7 years after all ;-) Good Luck HTH
i would spray wd40 in the spark plug holes before you try to start it and if you have the tool id do a compression test on it to see if the head gasket is still intact its an easy test to do. and if it is retorque the head bolts now before it does blow the head gasket. plus then you can see how much life the engine has left based on the numbers the gauge gives you a good engine should show anywhere from 125 psi to 160 psi or so. if you didnt already know all that great if you did oh well thats why they call it an opinion lol.
Replace WD40 with Marvel Mystery Oil. WD40 is non-combustible. And headbolts on a 7MGTE should be torqued to 75 lb-ft of torque.
