99 cav 2.2 i replaced the head and hg runs great but i cant get the steel coolant pipe that bolts to the side of the haed to seal up, drives about 5 min and starts blowing coolant everywhere any idea

i have replaced the o-ring at least three times, ive tried silicone i cant get nothin to work, it idles great but only drives for about 10 min and blow out at the seem everytyime

pull off the top coolant line..and blow the air all the way out...this happened to us also it was just simple as getting all the air out of the coolant lines..

make sure that the surface of the head and the pipe are clean take a wire brush if u have one they work good if not use a putty knife.and if that dont work look for cracks in the pipe.
