my radio stop working , you can see the stations but no volume on it

Need to take it to BMW specialist, or simply have a new one put in.~...could be a "mute" function that you hadn't realized....could be a speaker shorted and took out the output section....would explain the lack of response from your CD player am/fm...anything~

you could test the impedance of each speaker with a multimeter to find out if this theory is correct...because a new one would be met with the same fate if the speakers were shorting~
