E T S light is on what does it mean?

Enhanced Traction System.......... basically traction control, if this light is on you probably have a bad wheel speed sensor

I had the same thing. Ran the computer check on it, said to replace the map sensor. We did, all is well. Part is about 78.00, no more lights or gears banging into place.
