Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After removing the ignition switch by
customer  the car security light stays
solid. Is there a way to reset it
because after 11 mins wait. It still
stays on solid  no blinking. Thanks

Turn the switch to crank but don't start the engine, leave the key on and wait 10 minutes repeat 3 times for a total of 30 minutes, once in a while it will reser after 2 tries but 3 is the procedure I hope this helps you

I tried for 11 mins first but the light stayed on then I turned off and tried again light still stayed on solid I left it for another 11 mins turn off turn on it was still on solid note its not blinking , it stays on solid .....

Does it have the right switch? If yes you may have to get it scanned

I installed a resistor 4.7k on the yellow and black wire but it stays on solid theft light before I did that and after also it stays on with out resistor also
