BMW won't idle

Starts and will run if I keep my foot
on the accelerator

Check engine light is on. It is giving a code for the front camshaft sensor - which I replaced. I also cleaned the Idle control valve and replaced the air intake boots, due to them being dry rotted. I have not checked for vacuum leaks yet. Will do that tonight.

check also the throttle body to see if it's dirty. the cam sensor would not do that

I have a 2000 BMW Z3 2.5 engine yeah engine runs great and just when I stop at stop light it wants to have a rough idle what would cause that
