dash problems on a 2004 Z4 BMW

I have a 2004 z4 bmw, we left the top down and had a very bad storm, the car
got wet on the inside, the top will not go up or down, dash lights will not work
and the beeping will not stop and something is draining the battery, the signals
work on the outside, please help afraid to take to BMW dealership

I would be afraid too. At this point all you can do is dry it out and then fix whatever does not work. I would garage it with a dehumidifier and fans blowing on the dash for a week and see if it helps.

Oh man..... Your problems are going to be difficult at best to fix. The top needs to be removed ( refer to youtube videos) and rebuild or replace pump motor. Like one other poster said: garage and dehumidifie - "dry out" the car the best you can. DISCONNECT THE BATTERY until you have located the source of the drain. Go though the car and disconnect any electrical connections you can find and make sure they are completely dry before reconnecting. You have a big job ahead. Totally removing the entire interior might be very helpful. Locate the ECM behind the glove box and remove till everything is completely dried out. - you will be really lucky to save the car but I would assume it will be a write off- hope you had good insurance.Sorry to say but this car will probably give you headaches from here on out.
