Wv cabrio box under rear seat

There is a box under rear
seat several wires go to
the front such as to
ignition ect. Mine for
several days smoked, I
wasn't sure where smoke
was coming from. This
lead to my car quit
running. Upon inspection
wires melted into one
mass headache. I'm
looking for repair
guidance and wiring
assistance.. I can buy the
box try wiring and think I
will need help
understanding the
intensity of this.
