My 2001 Cabrio needs a tranny. It's either DLZ or EPR - how do I identify which transmission is in the car?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am shopping for a transmission (automatic) for my 2001 GLS. I am told it's going to be a
DLZ or EPR code (different gear ratios). How do I identify which one I have?

It is on the back sticker stuck to the jamb of the rear hatch. That has all the information about your particular buld of the cabrio.
