power for cigarette lighter

I use power adapter for charging cell phone and its not charging.
does it run on a fuse or does it need to be replaced?

see the u5 in diagram, that should be the aux power outlet. the top wire is voltage, the bottom wire is ground. See above the u5 in diagram, that appears to be a 15 amp fuse? if the fuse isn't in your fuse box, then, I don't know where it is located? I'd use something else besides your charger to check for voltage at the power outlet. Some may not go hot w/o turning on the key? Some of the national brand auto stores may sell an aux power outlet, it's just a socket with a couple pig tail wires. You mount it under the dash, The two wires should be for voltage and ground. Just a thought?

The fuse for the cig lighter should be in the fuse panel under side dash. I believe the panel should be left side near where your knee is. It should be on a fuse by itself and labeled on the panel backside.
