runs fine - then it won`t start ????

96 golf - 98000 when I got it - ran fine - lately it will start run  10 times then it won`t start  as though it`s not getting fuel or maybe it`s electrical  ?????

If by run ten times, do you mean ten operating cycles (approx time/distance)? Also, are there any check engine codes? Yours should be OBDII and a good scan can tell a lot.
