So i have a chevy przim 1999 the steering cut out
on my home, it turns but the steering is loud and
hard, what could be the problem

Are you topped off on fluid? Any signs of leaks from the power steering pump or rack under the car?

Add some Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak to power steering reservoir. It not only stops leaks but also corrects hard steering.
