Desperate for AC hose! VW no longer makes part 1hm820739a which i need to make the AC work- anyone have such?

I just had new compressor,etc  put in and then mechanic tells me it won't work
without the hose (the nut is stripped)--VW no longer makes it- anyone know
where to find it or OEM product or have spare parts they want to get rid of?

HI Kelly- i heard they often will remake the hose itself but this is the nut. what would I search for? i'm in sf bay area.

hi kelly- i went to local pickNpull but no one there to help- hope to take husband this sunday but not sure where on car it is. thx

All good answers!!! Junk yard, pull and pays, a hydraulic shop can make these hoses for any application car, machine, truck. Might be expensive but you will get one. Also there are used part apps that you can download for parts all over America and they will send them to you.

I keep finding this one instead: 1HM820721 which seems to be for an automatic and my car a standard-- are they different?
