What EXACTLY code did it throw? 'Misfire' can be many things, including injector, coil for #2 on coil pack, spark plug, and much more. Please come back with PXXXX code.

I dont know. they had it scaned. Im just the one thats gna fix it. I guess I need to go scan myself.
The VR6 uses waste spark ignition. Within the coilpack, there are 3 coils, which provide spark to 2 cylinders each. Thus, when the coilpack fails generally you will lose 2 cylinders at a time, or the all cylinders. Remove the plug in cylinder 2 and see if it's wet. If so, there's fuel going to that cylinder, but no spark. A good place to start would be the ignition wires, as their lifetime is around 60,000mi or 100,000km. If that doesn't work change the spark plugs (make sure to use dual electrode ones). And lastly, after you've tried everything else, buy a new OEM coilpack. They're quite pricey, which is why you should try everything else first. Best of luck!
Hey scooter....this guy, Armaan, I don't know him but it's obvious he knows what he is talking about...so if I were you I would read and pay attention. And Armaan, sorry for speaking about you in 3rd person.
