My my 2001 Jetta will not start especially when it's damp a rating I had somebody hit me from behind right and plus I would went to my sisters and she had lot holes in her driveway going to the house

It seems to happen every time it gets damp
or raining and it turns on for a few seconds
then goes off and then eventually I thought it
was the distributor cap eventually it will start
but no yellow on the dash there's a yellow
there's a profile of a car it's yellow is blinking
when this happens what does this car mean
the car only has 70,000 miles on it

the yellow profile of a car is an indicator you are using the wrong key. That is probably why it won't start. If you are using the proper key, you might have to check out the ignition system and or program the key to the car again. Did you check the battery cables that attach to the battery? They might be corroded. Remove and clean them up. Youtube has a few good videos on the process.

Your engine control unit (ecu) is malfunctioning due to moisture. Check the box that it is mounted in to make sure it's not cracked or ruptured - you can put something that absorbs any moisture in with it. It may need to be replaced due to moisture.
