depends what year, most of the bugs have been worked out after 2001.5 (AWP engine code)

they are reliable its not really a special turbo its a 1.8t its nothing new or anything plus they are really hard to find so they might go for a lot now

My 2001 Wolfsburg just turned 180,000. It's on its original clutch, original exhaust, original suspension, original alternator/water pump/AC condenser... etc. A few things that have had to be replaced are brakes (once, just recently), spark plugs (twice) and fuel pump (due to foreign crap getting in the gas tank/bad gas). I don't overly "Baby" my car, but I don't drive it like a gorilla, either.
