Its not that simple the you need the pedal interior assembly(for the clutch pedal)You need to replace the ECU otherwise your gonna have a check eng light on and wiring harness cause u no longer have the connection for the auto trans. You will also need the interior stick shift linkage as you no longer will need the auto trans selector.I'm not sure but you may need the axle half shafts as auto and manual may differ. Its better to buy another vehicle that is already standard or go to the insurance auction and buy one that is totaled

that is crashed from the rear and take all the necessary items to make it standard.Remember if you buya crashed vehicle make sure that it is the same year as ECM and wiring harness connection may differ. that would be the cheapest way to do it cuse all your doing is swapping parts also I've been to these auctions you need to ask someone there with a business license to buy it for he may charge you 100 and u may get a smashed jetta 4 800 dollars

Most important dont buy a vehicle that is complete that means it may have eng or trans problems thats why you need to buy a smashed vehicle and get what you need and sellwhats left over on ebay ie (eng & body parts) on ebay and you make money back making your conversion free
Look up the code number for your current tranny and the tranny you'd be putting in and there are some conversion kits on this website. http://www.eurospecsport.com/ I was thinking about 5 speed swap for mine but not sure if i wanted used parts and this is what ppl told me to check out
Can I fit a 2012 Jetta transmission motor 2.5 to a 2007 same motor 2.5
It's fairly simple besides the vss, css, reverse lights when it reverse and cruise cuz that's all wired up to the TCU but it's done and I'm driving my 02 Jetta with my 02 gti 5spd in it instead of that triptronic 09a auto trans bs
