I have a 2003 Jetta 2.0 that the body is total but the engine has low miles. I found a 2003 VW Jetta 1.8 with a blown motor. I need to know if the engine from the 2.0 can be put into the 1.8 body

They will swap but it will need to be swapped complete the 1.8 is a turbo motor. You will need every item under the hood and then some to make it work.
You can, but to much work for the average Joe, don't bother anyhow, those motors are a dime a dozen.
