If my timing is off 45 degrees on the distributor cap will I still get fire to the spark plugs?

Asked by Rito May 10, 2016 at 11:38 AM about the 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4-Door RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently had my O2 sensor wires melted to my
exhaust. Right around the same time my truck
backfired and apparently jumped timing. I went
back to fix the wires and correct all that now my
truck won't start anymore. I got up under  the hood
and  found out that I wasn't getting fire to my spark
plugs. Ive replaced spark plugs, wires, distributor
cap, rotor, ignition sensor, coils, camshaft
positioning sensor, and still have no fire to my
number one spark plugs I was wondering if maybe
my timing being off that far if it could possibly
affect me not getting spark?
