I have a 99 chevy tahoe. It's 2 wd. The crankshaft
position sensor went out. I got the part but can't
find its location. Please help!!!

Sorry, wrong again, the crankshaft sensor is located behind the starter. Here is a video on how to change it... https://youtu.be/sKo7xRWVNqY

Stud crank sensor is not at starter .it is located on the bottom front of engine behind the balancer ,has a small connector of wires hooked to it held in by one 8mm bolt.remove bolt then with a pair of pliers gently move it back and fourth while gently pulling it out.lubricate new one at o ring and reinstall .
