Took the car to canadian tire to get the tranny fluid checked. Mechanic said it was fine. Mechanic indicated that our tires might be the problem and that the belts are broken. Took the car to our tire shop guys for a 2nd opinion and they agreed. They replaced all 4 tires and the car no longer shifts hard when accelerating from a start.
