Need to know how to change an oil filter housing on a 98 vw beetle ?

The oil filter mounts to an oil cooler with hoses to the engine coolant system connected to aid in engine temperature stability. Is the cooler damaged? It can be replaced and is mounted to the engine block...secured by a large hexagonal nut visible when te filter is removed. Message me on Facebook and I'll see if I have a diagram to send. I do recommend getting a proper manual if you plan to do a lot of maintenance yourself.
