Im trying to get a downpipe for my car just not sure what brand i should get any suggestions?

I found nothing for your B5 1.8T FWD Passat on ECS Tuning or Black Forest Industries websites. The PassatWorld forum has much discussion on B5 exhausts. A peak at the configuration diagram might help develop a logical plan of attack. I don't have an B5 manuals or data...so I'll go find some. But, if you have some manuals, look at the setup. From the discussion it looks like the turbo outlet feeds directly to the CAT and then a downpipe/flex joint connects to the rest of the exhaust. If this is so, a turbo-back exhaust package is probably the best option as all components will be compatible down the length of the system.
