Starter?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car won't start .I had a pump
plugged into the cigarette lighter and
let that go and then went around to
start the car. I started it once and it
didn't catch. The second time I did it, it
just made a whirring sound. Clicking. It
wanted to start, I wonder if I damaged
the car by using the tire pump. It was
fine before this.hooked into my
lighteroutlet. Hmmm.

It may be a low battery, make sure it is fully charged. If you still have problems with it not catching, whirring sound, then yes, it would be in the starter.

it will be fuse that cut and do you check if check engine light on or if all light on the dash board show complete.check the fuse and the brainbox after that.

Power is getting to the starter there Wish, if anything the starter drive is bad. The starter is turning.
