Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Live in the Northeast - do get some snow etc.  Don't drive much but when I do it is usually
in short distances e.g. errands.  My current tires' tread wore out fairly quickly -- under
30,000 miles driven since tires purchased in Dec. 2007.

Pay attention to the tread wear ratings as you look at your tire choices. Also, the 2003 Passat standard tire size should be 195/65-15.
