Rear end collision affect sunroof?

I was rear ended about 2 weeks ago and just got the car
back from the shop. When driving down the highway at
high speed the sunroof now whistles like a banshee. Prior
to the accident the cabin was quiet. Could this be related
to the accident?

Certainly could be related.
I believe it is, I'm sure this must be an insurance claim, get-er fix.
I agree, it is related. In a accident the body of modern cars are designed to "crumple" which helps distribute the force of the impact keeping passengers safer. This crumpling will travel a long way through out the body from the point of impact. Repair shops will often adjust doors hoods trunk lids as part to the repair process if there is any misalignment of those items. But it is easy to see them missing the sun roof. You may have to be "persistent" with the insurance company and/ or the body shop. Good Luck.
