The warning chimes are too loud. The front and back sensor chimes, and the seatbelt chimes are most annoying. Can I turn them off or way down?

It is possible to turn down the chimes you speak of. Just consult your owners manual.

You have to find someone with a VAG-COM to turn them off. Go to Club Touareg web site to find someone with a VAG-COM controller.
