oil filter adapter gasket seal without screen vs with screen

Asked by Death2989 Jun 25, 2024 at 11:38 PM about the 2006 Acura TL FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replacing seal on 2006 acura tl. i think the original has a screen on the seal but
im not sure. But the new seal does not have the screen but there is another
option showing the screen. Is it bad or negligible difference. For whatever
reason with the screen was cheaper but not in stock so I grabbed the one
without it.

Stick with original if possible.
