4l60E transmission is rated to handle 360 ftlbs torque

such acceleration it feels as though your eyeballs are bein' pushed back into your head....3 G's 8 G's....how much acceleration until it's just too much~?

That's why in an F16, which can take 9 g's (they don't make a habit of that) the pilot seat is reclined severely, the pilot is half way between upright and laying on his back. That way the blood is not as likely to be literally drained from his brain in a 5 or 6 g maneuver
