Asked by Walter Aug 10, 2016 at 03:28 PM about the 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata Roadster

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an  1990 Mazda Miata. I found another harmonic
balancer of a Mazda 323 that looks identical. Are these
compatible to change out and swap?

1.6 engine cross check part numbers 323, to Miata, But if it was mine I spend $40 dollars for a new one, after 16 years they tend to come apart.
