while driving on the interstate my 2001 Mazda miata just died. engine light came on and it would not restart

what could be causing this issue.. the gas tank was very low before this
happened.. filled the tank went about 60 miles and it stalled   could this be
some of the problem????

Low gas would not cause this........You need to see if you know someone who owns an OBDII code reader, cause the problem could be many, But it sounds like more of an electrical problem....
