Hey Darryl do you know how I could make my suspension softer I have back problem and probably shouldn't have bought the miata but just loved the look but it's just way too stiff for me. I have the suspension package on it's a 06 grand touring with bilsten shocks.? otherwise i have to sell it back it's toobad...thanks
No I don't, I prefer the older models. You can check with http://flyinmiata.com/ they will usually answer any questions you may have.
I've had a hitch on my miata for 20 years now. It was installed by u-haul back then. Fixed receiver and a shin buster if not looking. However, the car has pulled 100's of loads on the trailer up to 1000lbs. Not recommended but the clutch has never been replaced and handles very well with the weight. It's amazing how the gearing handles sporty driving and trailer pulling with no issues. I drive a 1990 manual with 1.6 engine. Can't say enou about the superb design throughout the car!
Yes I put a hitch on my miata and I had a 10ft x 6ft trailer built with electric brakes on it and I installed a break actuator in the miata. It works great , will skid a little when the trailer is to light. The trailer is rated for 1200# and I will never have over 800# towing and under 200# on the tongue.
