My rx8 turns over fine but have to put pedal to floor board, for about 5 secs then turn off for a couple secs turn back on and crank just giving a little gas and after about 8 cranks it fires..it will idle at 750 rpms when warm in neutral or park but in drive and foot on brake it dies unless you give it little gas with your foot on brake. Will not start up again once turned off until it cools down.

Also if I increase rpms to about 3500 for 10 secs before I shut it down it doesn't help flooding

Don’t hit the gas till the car stops smoking it will fill your car and make it hard as rock so nothing will pass through
