i just got my 1998 chevy lumina ABS worked on yesterday. the low tac lite came on when i hit the breaks hard cuz of some idiot who cut me off, what does that mean?

i had my abs worked on yesterday. the abs was reading that 3 out of the 4 breaks werent
working and the chord on the right side was not hooked on, so yea had it worked on and
was working great till about a half hour ago i was in rush hour traffic and an idiot cut in
front of me and i had to slam on the breaks. i felt the break work but not then i seen the
low tac light come on, i got to a complete stop and it went off.... ???

I downloaded the owners manual and found this;.. Anti-Lock Brake System Active Light (Option) LOW TRAC When your anti-lock system is adjusting brake pressure to help avoid a braking skid, the anti-lock brake system active light will come on. Slippery road conditions may exist if this light comes on, so adjust your driving accordingly. The light will stay on for a few seconds after the system stops adjusting brake pressure.

Thanks!! its a damn chevy so i dont know much about them. im a ford nut but got the car for free so i cant complain too much. (still a p.o.s.)
