Car running horrible and won't idle after slamming on breaks. The other day I was driving home and just got off the freeway. An older person ran a red light and I had to slam on the breaks

You probably have leaky injectors. I would replace them. Clean your Idle Air Control Valve and throttle body also. While you're in there, you may as well change out your Throttle position sensor as well.

When I took it in and they said it might be the o rings they checked the air control and throttle. But I'll look into the injectors. Thanks will keep upto date what I find
