How do I identify what type of air conditioner
blower motor is on a Mini Cooper S R53 2006

Short of removing the blower motor, you could contact the manufacturer with your VIN number. They have excellent records and will likely help you. A dealership might also be useful. Your options are the 2 pole or 3 pole motor. I hope it's the 2 pole because that's only about 200 bucks and widely available.

Under the dash behind the radio, you can get to it and check it out by removing the cabin air filter which is under the glovebox on the passenger side
