Hope you have your 4 digit radio code. Should be on a small card with your car manual. Have your key set to 1 or 2 position, turn the radio on It will display CODE. Enter the 4 digits. If you enter the wrong code 3 times it will display OFF. You will need to wait 2 hrs with the radio left on (ie 2 hrs non- continuous, meaning it could be 15 min here, 30 min there until you've reached a total of 2 hrs). The it will change back to CODE and you can try again. If you've lost the code, I believe you have to call Volvo with your VIN and they will provide the code to you.

That doesn’t work, my radio has the code written on it, but it won’t accept the code, the code even matches the vin number when I called my local Volvo dealer. I’ve tried 3 times so far, I get 3 tries each time, it always goes to OFF.
