i HAVE A 1998 VENTURE, IT QUIT RUNNING YESTERDAY. NO NOTICE NO SIGNS. IT WILL START BUT WILL NOT ROLL.THINK IT IS TORGUE CONVERTER, OR SENSOR. SOMEONE SAID THERE IS A PLUG ON THE TRANNY THAT YOU CAN UNPLUG WHICH CUTS OUT THE OVERDRIVE . IS THIS TRUE AND IF SO WHERE IS IT. OR IS THERE AWAY TO FIND OUT?

do the reverse lights work? if no, it maybe the neutral safety switch is stripped or scorched. the linkage from the shifter to tranny maybe bent or rusted off in any event.
